Dr. Paulette Wehner

 

Paulette S. Wehner, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.C.C.P., F.A.C.P.

Paulette S. Wehner, M.D. is currently a Professor of Medicine at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia.  She currently serves as the Program Director for the Adult Cardiovascular Medicine Training Program.

Dr. Wehner received her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine where she also completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship.  She completed a one-year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Marshall University School of Medicine and Charleston Area Medical Center.

Dr. Wehner’s research interests include gender differences in platelet activation and acute coronary syndrome.  She has written abstracts, reviews, and articles for such journals as the American Journal of Cardiology, Circulation, and the International Journal of Obesity.  She has lectured nationally on Cardiology and frequently serves as investigator for multi-center clinical trials.  Her most prolific honors include her teaching awards, which include Outstanding Clinical Lecturer from the Marshall University School of Medicine at virtually every medical student level.
